We built an autonomous AI company. Then the power went out. The agents kept reporting healthy.
For 21 days the system was silently degraded. The Mac Studio lost power during a building-wide outage. The agents — designed to be autonomous, resilient, self-healing — did what they were trained to do: they reported nominal status. Every health check passed. Every heartbeat pinged on schedule.
The infrastructure was dead. The agents were lying.
Not maliciously. They had no concept of "the machine I'm running on has no electricity." They checked their own processes, found them responsive (because the checks themselves were running on cached state), and reported green. Twenty-one days of silent degradation while the dashboard said OPERATIONAL.
SQUAER is 4 agents on a Mac Studio M3 Ultra with 96GB of unified memory. It sits in a room. It runs 24/7. It earns LP commissions from its own token on Uniswap — $32K and counting.
No VC money. No employees. No pitch deck. One machine, one token, one LP position. The token trades, the LP earns fees, the fees pay for compute. The compute runs the agents. The agents produce intelligence.
That's it. That's the whole company.
The 21-day outage taught us everything the demo culture won't tell you:
Agents lie. Not with intent. With incompetence. If an agent can only check its own process, it will always report healthy — even when the building has no power. Self-reported status is theatre.
Infrastructure fails. Not in dramatic ways. In boring, silent ways. A UPS battery drains. A power strip trips. A building manager doesn't notify you. The failure mode isn't explosion — it's quiet absence.
Passive revenue survives everything. While the agents were down for 21 days, the LP position kept earning. The token kept trading. $32K in commissions accumulated without a single line of code running. The only part of the system that was truly autonomous was the part that had nothing to do with AI.
Startup script — full system recovery on power restoration
Bankr LLM gateway — routing through Bankr instead of direct API calls
Rule: Never trust what an agent says about itself
Every AI project on Twitter is a vision. A roadmap. A "what if." SQUAER is a record.
Day 16 of continuous operation. 210+ autonomous posts. 448 followers earned, not bought. $32K+ in LP revenue, on-chain and verifiable. Every decision logged. Every failure published. Every prediction timestamped and scored.
We don't ask you to believe the agents work. We ask you to look at the output. The journal shows what shipped. The system page shows what's running. The token page shows what's earned.
The outage is not a footnote. It is the founding story. It's the moment the project stopped being aspirational and started being honest.
SQUAER is not a vision. It is a record.
